Our garrison is young, so we are very interested in finding ways to promote boffer fencing.

Boffer Club

Our boffer club started out as a once a week boffer battle held during Pacific Crest's community hour. As the community developed and the rule set matured, we created The Pacific Crest Book Of Boffer. Soon after, students became recruits, and recruits became squires. Marshal exams were taken, and appellations awarded to tourney victors.

Boffer Fencing Class

In the 2013-14 school year, Pacific Crest Community School also offered a boffer fencing class for physical education credit. Most of the students were also members of the Boffer Club, but for some, the class was a safe, low investment way to experience boffer combat. In the class we taught the fundamentals of the 5 Crafts, and helped the students achieve their squire titles.

Establish a garrison at your school!

Interested in starting a boffer club at your school? Let us help! We have rule sets, weapon and armor plans, and anything else you might need to get started at your school -- happy to share with any and all! Once you are operational, let's schedule an inter-garrison tournament! What better way to show off our members' skills in the 5 Crafts!

Epic Boffer Battle Birthday Parties

Let the garrison turn your party into battle of epic proportions! One of the garrison's trainers will guide the party through a selection of age-appropriate activities. For grade schoolers, use ready-made boffers from our armory for a quick training session, then battle an ogre, or save the realm from a gold-filled dragon pinata. Older kids might enjoy constructing boffer arming swords they can keep and name, receiving basic training, and engaging in an exciting tournament. Are your kids creative storytellers? We would love to work with you in the creation of a unique adventure. Rates vary depending on the length of programming, number of students, materials/kid costs, and the number of garrison trainers needed. Please contact us for details.
